Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SolarFleet platform ("Service"), operated by InspireGreen Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

SolarFleet is a cloud-based solar fleet monitoring and O&M management platform. The Service includes:

  • Solar site monitoring and performance dashboards
  • Alert and notification systems
  • Case and issue management
  • Engineer report generation (BS EN 62446-1:2024)
  • Client portal and white-label features
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling

Features may vary by plan. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

4. Billing and payment

SolarFleet offers a free tier (up to 5 sites) and paid tiers billed monthly. Current pricing is displayed on our website and may change with 30 days' notice.

  • Free tier: Up to 5 monitored sites, no charge, no time limit.
  • Paid tiers: Billed monthly based on the number of active monitored sites.
  • No setup fees. No long-term contracts.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Service continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

We may suspend access if payment is overdue by more than 14 days after notification.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you upload or generate through the Service ("Your Data"). We do not claim ownership of Your Data.

You grant us a licence to process, store, and display Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This licence ends when you delete Your Data or close your account.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload data to the Service, including any solar monitoring data from third-party APIs.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service's security
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Resell or sublicence the Service without our written consent
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond normal API usage

7. Availability and support

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.

Support is provided via email at hello@inspiregreen.co.uk. Response times may vary by plan.

8. Third-party integrations

The Service integrates with third-party monitoring APIs (e.g. SolarEdge). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of these third-party services. Your use of third-party integrations is subject to those providers' terms.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of InspireGreen Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our intellectual property beyond the right to use the Service as intended.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for losses resulting from inaccurate monitoring data, missed alerts, or third-party API failures.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

We will make Your Data available for export for 30 days after account closure. After this period, Your Data will be permanently deleted.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
